HeyYa! is a social mobile app designed to change the way people meet up, do things together and have fun offline.

HeyYa! allows users to post and share offline events of any kind either publicly or privately and invite others to join, meet and follow people with similar interests, discover cool events around, get together to go out and have fun.

When you use our service, you’ll share some information with us. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle with user data (e.g., information provided by a user, collected about a user, and collected about a user’s use of the app or device).

When you interact with our service, we collect the information that you share with us. For example, when you set up your HeyYa! account, you provide some information about you, such as: a username, a password, a phone number, your photo and your interests.

We may collect information that other users provide about you when they use HeyYa! app. For example, if another user allows us to collect information from their device phonebook—and you’re one of that user’s contacts—we may combine the information we collect from that user’s phonebook with other information we have collected about you.

How long we store your data

We do not store on our servers information about your location, contacts and data from your phone storage.

We store content you post and share until you delete it or it will be expired.

We store your phone number to identify you, also profile information, in-app contacts all the time while you use our service. If you ask to delete your account, you will have up to 30 days to restore your account before we delete your information from our servers. During this period, your account will not be visible to other users.



Our service are not intended for—and we don’t direct them to—anyone under 12. And that’s why we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 12.

Revisions to the privacy policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. But when we do, we’ll let you know one way or another. Sometimes, we’ll let you know by revising the date at the top of the Privacy Policy that’s available on our website and mobile application. Other times, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our websites’ homepages or providing you with an in-app notification).
